A lot has been going on lately. But I am so glad that nothing has gone bad or worse ever since I came back from Vegas. I guess the only not-so-good thing was catching up with all the missing assignments after having no school for one day. Wow, I totally did not expect that much work to pile up while I was away. It took me about 3 days to complete everything that I have to do and remained on task. *Wipes sweat* Other than that, I am satisfied by the fact that there are so many things keeping me occupied this summer. For the first time in my life, I am happy that I have the chance to do so many things for myself and actually looking forward to do even better in the near future. Hm, now I am really excited to enter high school, and I am beginning to have a very good feeling about this. Which is good right? (:

Music and Entertainment: This is one of the three way thing that’s keeping my brain working happily through this whole entire summer. In this category, it’s just me spending my free time looking for some good music to listen to and search for some videos to entertain me online. So far, the music part is doing a pretty good job. I have been finding lots of good R&B, pop, and hip-hop songs lately. One of them was Insomnia by Craig David and Wheesung. This song has been on my mind for the past…who knows? 24 hours perhaps? Anyway, the entertainment part is basically watching one of Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor, and Whose Line Is It Anyway? series. Which is by far, very comedic, sad, and partially suspenseful as far as the talent/singing shows go. In addition, I forgot to mention the fact that I am practicing a few songs on the piano. Yes, I play the piano and I LOVE it to death! ♥

Web and Graphic Designing: Designing is playing a major part in my summer. Thanks to this opportunity, I now have the chance to improve my designing abilities. Lately, I have been experiencing new and stylish designs to go with my artworks. To my amazement, I love them all so far. Almost everything came out the way I wanted it to, or even BETTER! Also, I will begin changing the layout of my graphic site, Elysium Phoenix Designs, right when summer school is over. Which is on July 30th. Plus, I will be updating EPD pretty soon after I get a few PNGs extracted, and avatars designed.

Educational Show Business: A fancy title just for the topic about school huh? School is absolutely one of the major piece of my life. Now that I am finally in high school, I really, really want to do much better than ever before. Every single day of summer, I am always thinking about ways to improve my grades and plan a few things before “real” schooling business starts this upcoming fall. Right now, I have a 99.4% in my Physical Science class. Even though this is a high percentage, I am missing some points as far as homework goes. However, I have been acing all of my tests and quizzes for the past weeks. Not to mention that my teacher made a mistake on my extra credits. I’m supposed to have 15 extra credit points, but he only entered 5 points in the computer.

I guess this is the basic summary of my summer this year. Everything can be as normal/okay/perfect as it is now. I really hope that the good won’t turn into the bad. Until then, I will posting another random post for the next few days :]

I have been a big fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender for quite a while now, and it is such a shock and thrill to see it becoming a live action movie; rather than just a simple cartoon. The minute it came out as a trailer I was like, “Oh my buddha, I have GOT to see this movie when it comes out!” It was on last Saturday when I went with my friends to go watch Transformer 2 [talked about it on the previous blog post]. Before Transformers 2 started, a mini trailer of the Avatar movie appeared and I was really excited. Honesty speaking, at first I did not know that it was the Avatar (Aang) until he pulled down his hood. Haha, and the little kid looked adorable in my opinion. He looks as if he is nine years-old or something. But whatever it is, I am looking forward into watching this movie NEXT SUMMER…I can’t wait that long…

What to do for a fourth of July vacation? Well, my family and I are planning on going to Las Vegas! It’s been like a year I haven’t go there. I really missed it, despite the one year interval. Mainly, July fourth is Independence Day…this means fireworks! I can hardly wait to see the beautiful fireworks at Vegas.
