Everything seems to be fine after school ended for me in junior high. I was too darn lazy to even blog about anything, even though there were a lot of things going on. The first few days of no school, everything so plain boring. I simply had nothing to do but to be on the laptop for many hours. (Which killed me by the way) Thank goodness there was homework to do…YEAH I said it, HOMEWORK TO DO! For the first time this year, I am glad that I have summer work for my English 1 AP class. when I told some of my friends that I missed homework, they just gave me this expression: O____O” HAHA! It’s pretty easy to do, it’s just that you HAVE to do so much work for just one novel, The Call of the Wild by Jack London. Honestly, I think the book is just so boring. Mainly because it doesn’t suit my comfort zone in literature style-wise. But I can’t help it, i have to do it.

Summer school started for me just this week. High school. Wow, what a huge place. There were so many people and I finally get to where free dress instead of those UGLY UNIFORMS! Everyone looked so unique, and they look so much better with their style of clothing that uniforms. It really brings out their character. Moving on, my summer school class is pretty easy so far. I really wanted to take Physical Science ACC (accelerated), but unfortunately, they didn’t have any more spots available. So I have to take the regular class for it, which sucks because it’s too easy! Hm, but I am happy that I get to have a summer class, most people didn’t because there weren’t accepting anymore students. I guess I’d rather have something than nothing right? At least I can take biology in the fall, just not biology AP *sighs*

I love being a freshman so far in high school. I’m able to have the chance to meet some of my old friends again. Which is good right? Hm, I guess that it will be like this day after day in summer school. Not that exciting, but I guess things will go up a notch once in a while. When that happens, I will be there for sure. :]

School is ending pretty soon, it’s the time of the year where you’re about to say good-bye to your childhood memories, and it’s the moment where we move on with our lives. My final year in junior is coming to a conclusion. Soon, I will be on that stage at the Promotion and say all of the wonderful things about the past 9 years I’ve been in school (K-8th) and counting. I have always want to know what it feels like graduating. Well, technically I am not ‘graduating’ – I just got ‘promoted’ to high school that’s all. But anyhow, I am really excited about promoting into high school. (Despite the fact that I know I have a huge, heavy challenge in front of me)

Honestly, I love my childhood days. It is never to bad to be a kid all over again. I really miss the times that I could whine to my parents, always wanting this and that, and being a crybaby. As reminiscing as it is, it’s time to move on. Pretty soon, almost everything in my life would change. The environment that I once lived in will be reincarnated, and the people around me will soon be readmitted. Yes, I know that there is a bad catch to it, but I have always appreciate the good and bad things in life. For now, this is just a portion of how I will be expressing my feelings in the speech that I am doing on Promotion Day. I’ll be sure to post the speech up after I’m done, and hopefully you guys can be the judge and give me some thoughts and opinions about the essay.

What’s with a promotion without a decent outfit to go with it? Yesterday, I went with my cousin and my aunt to Arcadia mall to shop for a dress. It was a pretty tough time trying to find a dress that will match the the school’s requirements. I can not have a dress that has a dark color/shade to it. Instead, I have to wear pastel colors and white. Also, we can not have bare shoulders with spaghetti strap. So I have to find like a mini coat around it. High heels are optional; you don’t have to necessarily wear them if you don’t want to, so that’s good. Anyway, here is my promotion dress (and shoes at the left) I’ll be wearing to Promotion Day.

Lastly, I just want to conclude this long blog post with a few little things in mind. While I was shopping for my promotion dress, my cousin, my aunt, and I went to a few other stores to shop at. Two of which was Hollister and American Eagle. I bought like 3 shirts at Hollister and a blue shirt at American Eagle (Aerie). There is a screen cap on the right if you want to have a good look at them.
